Kala Hirtle
Kala Hirtle is a familiar face around Nova Scotia pools. She has been the coach of the East Hants Summer Swim Team for the last 5 years, earning Summer Coach of the Year in 2008. Since 2008 Kala worked for the Dalhousie University Club team under Varsity Head Coach David Fry, where she was also involved in working with world champion triathletes and members of the Dal Tigers swim team
Kala is currently a Level III trained coach and hopes to join the National Coaching Institute for her Level 4/5.
