I have been with the Manta Rays now for 10 years, first as a swimmer and then a coach. I joined the team as a competitive swimmer at the age of 9 and have been with the club ever since. I competed as a swimmer for close to 7 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I was then given the opportunity in 2007 to become the assistant coach and work with the young members of the club. I am now in my fifth year of coaching with the club and look forward to continuing on from here. I love working with the kids and helping them to become better swimmers. It is also very important to me that the swimmers enjoy coming to practice and look forward to competing in the swim meets.

Outside of the swim team I am a lifeguard/swimming instructor at the Dartmouth YMCA and I study biology under a Science degree at Saint Mary’s University. I am currently in my third year and once finished I hope to further my education in the medical field and ideally work in pediatrics.
